The law, the prophets and the later writers have left a wealth of valuable teachings
The law, the prophets and the later writers have left a wealth of valuable teachings, and we should praise Israel for the instruction and wisdom they provide. But it is not enough that those who read it should gain understanding for themselves.
Any one who values learning should be able should be able to help others by what he himself says and writes. Let me urge you to read more about my writings so that you will learn to be wise with an open mind and please be patient in those places where, inspite of all my delight efforts, I may not have translated and written some phrases very well. I want to use all my skill and diligence to impact knowledge to those who my works will be available for both within and abroad who wish to learn and have the strength of character to live by law.
Firstly, be inform this day that all wisdom comes from the Lord, and wisdom is with him forever. If I may ask you my reader that who can count the rain drops or the sand along the shore? Who can count the days of eternity? How high is the sky? How wide is the earth? Ho deep is the ocean? How profound is wisdom? Can anyone find answers to these questions? Wisdom was created before anything else: understanding has always existed. Has anyone ever been shown where wisdom originates? Does anyone understand her subtle cleverness? There is only one who is wise , and we must stand in awe before his throne. The Lord himself created wisdom; he saw her and recognized her value, and so he filled everything He has made with wisdom. He gave some measure of wisdom to everyone, but poured her out on those who love him. If you fear the Lord, honour and pride will be yours; you will be crowned with happiness and joy. To fear the Lord is a heartfelt delight; it will give you long and happy life, and at the end of your of your days all will go well for you. God will bless you on the day of your death. To fear the Lord is the first step to wisdom. Wisdom is given to the faithful in their mother’s wombs. She has lived with us from ancient times and generations to come will rely on her.
To fear the Lord I tell you my dear is wisdom at her fullest. She satisfies us with completely with her gifts of long life, wealth, prosperity, riches, honour, happiness, justice, fairness, love, happiness, patience, peace, etc. and fills our homes and barns with all that our hearts can desire. To fear the Lord is the flower of wisdom that blossoms with peace and good health. She sends understanding and knowledge like the rain, and increase the honour of those who receive her.
To fear the Lord is the root of wisdom, her branches are long life.
Wisdom has a treasury of wise sayings, but sinners have nothing but contempt for godliness. If you want to be wise keep the Lord’s commandment and meditate on it day and night. (Joshua 1:8) and he will give you wisdom in abundance. Fearing the Lord is wisdom and an education in itself. He is pleased by loyalty and humility. Be faithful in the practice of your religion, when you worship the Lord, do it with all your heart. Be careful about what you say, and don’t be a hypocrite. Don’t be arrogant, you may suffer a fall and be disgraced. The Lord will humble you and reveal your secrets in front of everyone in the synagogue, because you did not come there with reverence for the Lord, but with a heart full of hypocrisy.
Wisdom takes care of those who look for her as a teacher; she raises them to greatness. Loving her is loving life itself; rising early to look for her is pure joy. Anyone who obtains wisdom will be greatly honoured. Wherever he goes, the Lord will bless him abundantly. Wisdom’s servants are the servants of the Holy one, and the Lord loves all who loves her. Those who obey her will give sound judgements, those who pay attention to her have true security. Put your trust in wisdom, and you will possess her and pass her to your own descendants. At first, wisdom will lead you to difficult paths. She will make you so afraid that you will think you cannot go on. The discipline she demands will be so annoying and tormenting, and she will put you to test with her own requirements until she trust you completely. Then she will come to you without delay, reveal her secrets to you, and make you happy. But if you go astray, she will abandon you and let you go to your own ruin.
